The Poetry Edition is a blend of Live improvised Jazz and Poetry, hosted by Myesha Jenkins showcasing the symbiotic connection between the two artforms. Each month two poets, backed by the jazz improvisations of master bassist Lex Futshane and pianist Johan Mthetwa, are invited to share their work with a live studio audience. Myesha draws on her life’s experience, and love for poetry and jazz, to deliver a show that marries the two art forms seamlessly.
