storyline
Journalist Mikael Blomkvist has been asked to investigate an unsolved mystery. Young Harriet Vanger disappeared over 40 years ago and her uncle has been haunted by her disappearance ever since. Mikael enlists the help of rebellious hacker Lisbeth Salander and makes his way to the family's remote island to begin the investigation.
